Why estimators choose Beme

Built for brick and block. Nothing else.

Most takeoff tools cover every trade at the surface. Beme goes deep on one, every rule, every quirk, every detail a brickie or blocklayer memorises over the years, baked into the software.

Block by block, not course by course.

Beme counts in real blocks, not rough course math. Every block, corner, return and closure is worked the way the wall actually lays, so what's on screen is exactly what's on the order.

Lintel blocks are supplied. You choose what you use.

Beme puts the lintel options in front of you and you pick what you lay. From there it does the rest, sizing the opening and working the quantities around your choice.

More control over your build.

Jobs continue and change, and your estimate keeps up. Update a wall, an opening or a course as the job moves and the schedule follows, with no more painful updates.

How it works

From PDF to estimate in three steps.

Architect's plan in, supply schedule out. No spreadsheet, no QS software, no estimating team in the middle.

Step 01

Trace the plan.

Drop in the architect's PDF, set the scale, and click two points for a wall. Two more for the next. The whole structure goes down in minutes.

Step 02

Set the wall + openings.

Pick the brick or block, the bond, the trim. Place doors and windows with head and sill. Save the wall type once, reuse it on every future job.

Step 03

Export the schedule.

A polished PDF: assumptions, wall layout, supply schedule, 3D view. Every brick visible on screen is on the order. Hand it to the customer.

The workflow

Trace the plan. Get the whole order.

Trace the architect's PDF, see the build in 3D, and walk away with a full supply schedule, all from the laptop or tablet you already carry. Every wall, opening and lintel is counted the way you lay it, so the order matches the build.

Always current

A 3D model that updates as you need it to.

Every wall, opening, lintel and sill renders into a live 3D model as you trace, and it moves with the job. Change a wall and the model changes with it. Spin it, check it, and catch the wall you forgot before the trucks turn up.

Frequently asked

Quick answers.

The questions most people ask before they start. More on the pricing page .

How does Beme actually count the blocks? +
You trace the walls over your plan and the engine lays them out bond by bond - corners, ends, lintels, cut blocks and piers included. The tally updates live as you draw, block by block, by code.
What brick and block sizes does it support? +
Whatever you order from. There are built-in Australian, US and UK libraries, and you can set your own block dimensions for any supplier range.
Can I hand the customer a real document? +
Yes - a multi-page PDF with assumptions, wall layout, per-wall breakdowns and the full supply schedule. On Pro it carries your logo; on Starter it carries the Beme mark.
Do I need a credit card to start? +
Yes, Stripe takes it when the 14-day trial starts, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel from your account settings before then and you pay nothing.
