Trace a plan and set the scale

The starting point for every job: get the drawing in, make it measure true, and put your first walls down.

01

Load the plan PDF

Drag the architect's PDF straight onto the workspace. It drops in at full resolution as the background you trace over. No exporting to an image or converting first.

02

Calibrate the scale

Pick the calibrate tool and click along a dimension you already know, like a 4000mm wall. Type the real length. From that moment every measurement on the plan is true.

03

Draw the walls

Click one end of a wall, then the other. Beme snaps to ends and corners as you go, so runs meet cleanly. Straight walls and curved walls both work the same way.

04

Measure anything with the ruler

Reach for the ruler any time you want to check a span without committing a wall to it. It is the quickest way to sanity-check the scale before you go further.

Put it to work.
