Add openings and lintels

Openings are where a manual takeoff slips. In Beme you place them and the coursing, the lintel and the schedule all keep up.

01

Drop in a window or door

Place the opening on the wall where the plan calls for it and set its width. The coursing reflows around it straight away, so the block count stays honest.

02

Set sill and head heights

Give the opening its sill height and head height. Beme works the courses above and below to suit, the same as you would on the wall.

03

Let the lintel pick itself

Add the opening and Beme selects a lintel to suit the span. It lands in the supply schedule automatically, so nothing gets left off the order.

Check it in 3D

Spin the model and confirm the opening sits where it should. It is far cheaper to catch a wrong head height here than on site.

Put it to work.

Open a plan you've already quoted and run it through. The trial's free for 14 days, no card to start.
